The construction of the new high school was completed in two phases, delivering a modern academic environment designed to support both traditional and technical education. Phase 1 included a two-story academic and athletic building connected to four-story classroom wings. The facility offers a theater, indoor swimming pool, exhibition gymnasium, athletic support areas, and dedicated spaces for automotive, carpentry, electrical, graphics and printing programs, and culinary arts. Site enhancements included improved parking, vehicle circulation, utilities, and landscaping.
Initial work involved selective demolition of stadium facilities, site remediation, and grading to prepare the site. Following occupancy of the new building, Phase 2 included demolishing the existing school and developing new athletic fields and parking on the original footprint. The completed facility is certified LEED Gold.
