Dimeo has completed 17 new Target Stores throughout Southern New England and constructed a new mall entry for one store. The typical store consists of a single story, load bearing masonry building consisting of slab on grade construction with tube steel columns and open web joist girders (or joist and metal deck) for the balance of the steel construction. Each of the first group of stores building is a P2001 Target design with a single entrance.
The two newest stores consist of a new anchor store at the Warwick Mall and a new building in the Killingly Commons shopping plaza. These stores also include a Starbucks and a Pizza Hut inside. The combined projects total to over 2 million sf of construction and over $110 million. Architects include: Target Design Group, Bradford Saivetz & Associates, and KKE Architects, Inc.
