Dimeo Construction Company Completes TD Banknorth Sports Center at Quinnipiac University
Hamden, CT - Dimeo recently completed the TD Banknorth Sports Center at Quinnipiac University designed by Centerbrook Architects & Planners, LLC. The 191,800 sf facility contains a 3,710 seat basketball arena and a 3,247 seat hockey arena, joined by a common lobby area for concession stands and ticket sales. The center includes offices, locker rooms, club and premium seating, conference and meeting rooms, storage and weight-training facilities.
The Sports Center is the new home of Quinnipiac's NCAA Division I hockey and basketball programs. The building is the first in Quinnipiac's $150 million economic development project at its 230-acre Sherman Avenue campus.
