Dimeo Construction Company Completes South Shore Plaza Expansion

Braintree, MA - Dimeo Construction Company recently completed the South Shore Plaza expansion designed by JP2. This project began with the demolition of an existing 301,398 sf Macy's building. The area was replaced with 148,726 sf of small shops. As part of the expansion wing Dimeo also built 134,340 sf of lower level core/shell space, and a CMC pad for a 148,000 sf Nordstrom's building. The scope of the project included creating additional parking. Renovations to the existing mall include interior finishes such as painting and flooring, and the creation of a play area.
