Dimeo Construction Company Completes Residence Hall 17 at Bryant University

Smithfield, RI - Dimeo announces the completion of Residence Hall 17 at Bryant University, designed by ADD Inc. The project consisted of a new 5 story residence hall with approximately 200 beds. The five-story, 60,800-square-foot building is the tallest on campus and the only residence hall with an elevator. The building is masonry block and plank construction with a brick veneer complemented by architectural precast. The cafeteria is supported by a small kitchen, and there is a meeting room, which consists of an open space supported by structural steel.

Typical room finishes include standard carpet, paint on drywall and block, and limited ACT - most areas have exposed plank ceilings. The first floor has mill work paneling in the cafeteria and meeting room. The ground floor features a café run by Ronzio Pizza, with a multifunction seating area, living room with a gas fireplace, and lobby. The ground-floor social and meeting spaces are available for students living in Residence Hall 17 and the residence halls in Suite Village.
