This Construction Management, Design/Build project consisted of the construction of a new fire and materials test facility complete with a new Air Emissions Control System, office space and a visitor’s center. Several outlying support buildings were also built, including a wastewater treatment plant, fire protection water plant, and a pressurized test building.
Additionally, the existing test building was modified to become a storage facility. The site was reconfigured for construction, and infrastructure improvements were implemented to upgrade the existing conditions and to provide the necessary services to the new facilities. In all, fifteen buildings were constructed or renovated during this massive, campus-wide project.
