Dimeo Construction

This assignment involved construction of a new Filene's Department Store at the Providence Place Mall. The main architectural feature of this building is the three-story, forty-two foot open escalator area that includes sculptured gypsum ceilings and a chandelier at the top of the atrium. Project scope included interior finish work, mechanical, sprinkler, plumbing and electrical systems work, mechanical room, cooling tower and air handling systems, emergency generator, and freight and passenger elevators. Extensive electrical point-of-sale system and security systems were installed and set-up. This project was challenging as it involved extensive coordination and interface with multiple contractors.
