Dimeo Construction

Dimeo served as Construction Manager/General Contractor for the 280,000 sf GBA vertical expansion (first of its kind in United States) and occupied renovation to the existing 657,000 sf mall area. Work involved renovations to all anchor store and mall entrances and mall common areas, including upgrading existing MEP systems to meet building codes, new surface fascia and soffits, flooring, lighting, skylights, elevators, escalators, fountains and new food court. New construction involved the vertical expansion of the existing mall to accommodate a second story of retail stores. Major coordination between store management and the various contractors involving the footing construction and column penetrations into existing stores took place.
