General Growth Properties selected Dimeo as General Contractor for construction of the Brass Mill Center Mall. The mall encompasses over 1.2 million square feet of retail space, including 4 anchor stores, over 150 specialty stores, restaurants and entertainment space, as well as a 2-level parking deck. The project was built on the 90-acre site of the former Scovill Manufacturing Company brass mill.

Designed to reflect the city's heritage as a brass manufacturing center, architectural features include an EIFS and brick accented facade with a brass colored metal domed spire providing a strong link back to Waterbury's heritage. The project also involved an environmental cleanup, building demolition and site development.
