As CM at Risk, Dimeo completed these new student residences, designed to achieve the University's goal of incorporating more student housing on campus with a total of 864 beds. The four block and plank buildings with brick and curtainwall façade are organized around quadrangles, encouraging the sense of community and collegiate competition amongst residential "houses". Clusters of five-story buildings house approximately 216 students each, with a typical floor layout of 12 suites with four single-occupant bedrooms in each suite. Located near open spaces, the residences provide easy access to fields for intramural team usage, as well as use of the quadrangles for outdoor study and other leisure activities. This fast track project was completed in just 12 months.
