This New Central Energy Plant & Campus Wide Distribution System for the University of Southern Connecticut, previously near the middle of campus, was moved to a new location behind Moore Field House. The project included a new central plant with all new equipment, including new boilers and electrical switchgear. The new high-temperature hot water system and electrical distribution system had to be distributed throughout the existing busy campus during the school year, requiring careful logistic and safety planning.
