Dimeo Construction

Dimeo was selected as Construction Manager to build a new facility to consolidate a number of state offices into one central location. The new facility, built on a 54.5 acre parcel, houses six of the seven ConnDOT bureaus. These are the Office of ConnDOT, Commissioner, Bureau of Highways, Bureau of Administration, Bureau of Aeronautics, and the Bureau of Public Transportation. The facility includes a cafeteria, child care center, library, health center and Helipad, as well as parking for 1575 vehicles. The building consists of structural steel frame with exterior cladding of precast concrete with exterior insulated finish system and mechanical penthouse.
