Dimeo served as Construction Manager to complete renovations to the Prospect Street Wing of the Osborn Memorial Laboratories Building, located on the Science Hill Campus. Renovations of this five-story wing included upgrades to the building infrastructure, replacement of the exterior windows, and renovation of interior laboratory and support spaces. Scope of work included renovations to building superstructure including exterior closure and roofing. Interior construction featured new finishes, miscellaneous specialties, new MEP infrastructure and distribution system for plumbing, sprinkler, HVAC and electrical work, and hazardous material removal and/or remediation. The owner occupied designated areas in adjacent premises during the entire construction period, maintaining normal operations and continuing ongoing research and teaching activities. Continuous coordination with research teams occurred to avoid disruption of critical research.
