Dimeo served as General Contractor for this pharmaceutical process plant expansion. This process plant was incorporated into an existing building and produces products for growth hormones and fertility drugs in recombinant DNA technology. The project scope included full coordination and expedition of all process equipment deliveries and installation. Coordination of the Bio-Process plant expansion involved sophisticated systems such as: RODI (Reverse Osmosis Deionized) water system, WFI (Water for Injection), clean steam/plant steam, waste kill, product transfer/material transfer, bio-reactors, chilled glycol cooling systems, high purity gas/air distribution system, CIP (clean-in-place), environmental rooms, and utility transfer stations.
