Dimeo Construction

This historic wood structure, designed by renowned architect Christopher Wrenn, was completed in 1726. George Washington worshipped here, and the organ was tested by George Frederick Handel before being sent from England. Dimeo restored and rehabilitated this architectural treasure. Selective demolition and structural work was performed in order to stabilize the existing structure in its leaning position. Detailed interior work was completed to bring the historically significant building up to date. The church contains Tiffany stained-glass windows and the only three-tiered, wine glass pulpit in America.
