Construction Management services were provided to renovate a former jewelry factory building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, into a new home for the Childrens' Museum. The project was carefully designed to maintain the historic red brick facade and large multi-paned windows of the original architecture, while integrating a new steel and glass addition. The new Museum offers three times the space of the former museum with ample parking, new outdoor activity areas, and a playground. Additions included a new lobby area with two-story viewing area and gift shop, assembly area with a multi-purpose auditorium, exhibit areas, classrooms, toddler area, and party areas.
