CVS, the largest provider of prescriptions in the nation, selected Dimeo to build a new office complex to accomodate expanded needs since their acquisition of Caremark. Designed for LEED Silver Certification, the new building includes a data center, full service cafeteria, and training facilities. The 150,000+ sf building consists of a steel structure with metal panels, block veneer and curtain wall shell. Designed with N+1 redundancy to ensure the data center remains operational through any situation, essential components include 3 on-site generators supported by multiple underground storage tanks, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) switchgear and vaults, multiple transformers, and a raised access floor system. A 4-story, precast parking garage for 427 cars with a glass enclosed bridge linking the garage to the main building includes reserved parking areas for car pool vehicles and motorcycles as an integral part of the green design.
