Dimeo has provided Construction Management services for Amica Insurance over the course of 35 years, beginning in Hartford, CT. At Amica Center Park in Lincoln, RI. Dimeo assisted in obtaining the site, permitting, zoning and planning approvals, and ultimately building over 600,000 sf of first class office buildings within the park. The 6-story corporate headquarters offers a 200-seat dining room, kitchen, and 100-seat amphitheater on the first level, with various underwriting, actuarial, claims, accounting, and other offices rounding out the upper floors. An executive dining room and kitchen are located on the fifth floor, and additional mechanical area is on the sixth. The ground floor houses parking, loading dock, and mechanical space. The campus utilizes a state-of-the-art HVAC and cogeneration energy system as well as sophisticated voice and data systems. Architects included Blount Bennett Architects, Ltd.; CBT/Childs Bertman Tseckares, Inc.; and Keyes Associates.
