As Construction Manager, Dimeo performed renovations and new construction to consolidate the School of Art facilities and provide stunning new performance space for the School of Drama. The project location and site constraints necessitated continuous collaboration with surrounding neighbors and businesses. Featured within this facility is a 200-seat experimental theater designed as flexible space to accommodate various configurations of seating and performance space. The project provides state-of-the-art teaching facilities for graphic design, including classrooms, studios, and office and exhibition gallery space to meet the ever-changing needs of the graduate students, faculty, and staff. Project scope also involved extensive mechanical/electrical, and site work which included connections to campus-wide utilities including storm water, sewer, chilled and domestic water, and high pressure steam.
